Innovation in the food industry

Innovation is one of the keys that will allow the food and drink industry to reinforce its competitiveness in the context of the Lisbon agenda.

Food companies need a harmonised and simplified regulatory framework to be able to exploit the results of their research and better respond to consumer demands.

CIAA has invited key speakers from the European Commission, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the food industry.

This conference is co-organised by the CIAA (Confederation of the food and drink industries of the EU) and the BLL-BVE (the German food industry federation)
