Poland will preside over the Council of the European Union from 1 July until 31 December 2011.  Today, the CIAA published a short brochure setting out Europe’s food and drink industry priorities for the coming six months. The CIAA looks to the Presidency to deliver a more ‘business friendly’ framework, enabling food manufacturers to become more competitive to meet the challenges ahead. Central to realising this vision is the need to bolster food manufacturers’ capacity to innovate and the brochure outlines what this means in concrete terms.
